Kronplatz/Friedrichshafen – From July 2nd to 4th, 2019, leading European trade show held its Media Days in the Kronplatz region of South Tyrol. The setting and weather provided a splendid backdrop and ideal conditions for putting the new sporty bikes of the 2020 season to the test in front of media from around the world. At the fifth edition of the successful format, 21 sports-oriented manufacturers marketing a total of 23 brands met with 140 journalists from selected industry media outlets in 15 countries.
"As in previous years, the fifth edition of Eurobike Media Days was held under ideal conditions for industry journalists from around the world to inform themselves about the new models of 2020, as well as to test ride, photograph and film them. Meanwhile, the exhibitors were delighted to have the opportunity to intensively exchange with international journalists,” described Eurobike Director, Stefan Reisinger. "The tremendous support we received from our partners Südtirol, Kronplatz and Hero played a decisive role in ensuring that participants successfully got to test road bikes, gravel bikes, and MTBs with and without e-drives, and to discuss them in a relaxed atmosphere,” he added about the successful format. Journalists from 15 countries traveled to South Tyrol’s Kronplatz region for the event.
The following manufacturers attended Eurobike Media Days 2019: Bionicon, BMC, KTM, Corratec, arc8, Scapin, Rondo, NS Bikes, Conway, Maxx, Niner Bikes, Open Cycle, Nicolai (Rohloff), Simplon, F.S.A., Nox Cycles, Greyp, Titici, Fantic. Technical support was provided by Shimano, DT Swiss, Magura.
It has already been decided that next year’s Eurobike Media Days will also take place within the late-June/early-July timeframe. The exact dates and venue will soon be announced by the event’s organizers.
