The Aseanbike bicycle show held in Bangkok Thailand has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event, originally scheduled to run 29 - 31 October 2020 joins a long list of bicycle shows that have been canceled or rescheduled due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Aseanbike organizers, Messe Friedrichshafen and NCC Exhibition pointed out in a joint statement that there were many obstacles to the participation of many exhibitors, media representatives and visitors to the exhibition, including health, travel and international concerns and other related issues. Therefore, the organizer will give priority to the health and safety of exhibitors, buyers and visitors.
Organizers stated that the date and location of the exhibition will be announced later. The first Aseanbike was held in Bangkok from October 3 to 5, 2019. There were a total of about 100 exhibitors. Most exhibitors reported that the number of buyers and consumers at that time were not as high as expected.
