SRAM Taiwan was established in 1991, and will be 30 years old in 2021. SRAM Taiwan held an employees family day and 30th anniversary celebration activities ahead of time in November of this year on the campus of Taichung's Tunghai University, and invited its employees and their family members to celebrate this occasion together.
A dance by managers in cowboy outfits kicked off the 30th anniversary celebration. Afterwards, Joao Pires, SRAM's Director of Manufacturing for Asia, expressed gratitude to employees in Taiwan for their intense dedication, and also thanked customers in Taiwan for their strong support. Pires ended his speech with the hope that everyone will continue to work as a cohesive team and jointly achieve even greater things. According to SRAM Asia GM Bob Chen, SRAM Taiwan holds a family day activity every year for its 2,500 employees in Taiwan, and this year's 30th anniversary celebration helped the event attract close to 3,000 people. In existence for 30 years, SRAM Taiwan is the SRAM Group's strongest backstop, and will continue to pursue innovation in the years to come. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, which has caused bicycle sales to soar, SRAM has hit a new sales record in each month starting from June of 2020! SRAM's current orders will keep it busy through the first quarter of 2021, and the market situation through the rest of the next year won’t become clear until the end of the first quarter.
