Hermann Hartje KG is a sports and recreation company based in Germany that serves surrounding countries in Europe. Despite the hardships many global businesses have faced from the COVID-19 epidemic, the company has done exceptionally well.
In fact, the family-run business is coming up on their anniversary of more than a century of business. (125 years, to be exact) A company around that long has seen their fair share of obstacles. However, Hermann Hartje KG stated they saw an "unexpectedly good" amount of pre-order sales for the 2021 season.
In addition to their 22 locations in Europe and 63 global sales teams, the company has recently added a new member to their crew. Coen Bosch was announced as the new executive of managing export sales, specifically for bicycle and bicycle parts.
Bosch is no stranger to the bicycling world. Some of his professional experience includes working for Apollo Vredestein, a European tire company. Other work includes senior sales management at Lumileds. Before joining Hermann Hartje KG, Bosch spent two years working at Accell Group specializing in parts and accessories.
Hermann Hartje KG and Bosch have parallel hopes for expanding their success. Though they currently cater to many central European countries, the new executive is hoping to extend their business to parts of southern Europe. Specifically, France and Spain.
