LANXI WHEEL TOP, known for its advanced research and development of electronic shifting systems, has achieved a significant milestone by acquiring a majority stake in the leading Spanish components brand Rotor. As part of this strategic collaboration, WHEEL TOP will now serve as Rotor’s exclusive distributor in Asia.

During the Taichung Bike Week, LANXI WHEEL TOP Chairman Song Fujiang expressed his excitement about introducing Rotor’s high-end European brand to the Asian market. “We are thrilled to bring premium cycling experiences to China, enhancing the joy and quality of cycling for enthusiasts,” Song stated. He also emphasized the growing trend of electronic shifting, asserting that the future of cycling will be dominated by electronic transmission systems. WHEEL TOP aims to stay ahead of this shift, continuing its innovation in electronic components.

Founded in Spain in 1994, Rotor is renowned for its cutting-edge bike parts. Since launching the oval chainrings, Q-Rings, in 2005, the brand has expanded its product line to include cranks, stems, seatposts, saddles, and the revolutionary 2INpower dual power meter, known for its lightweight design. With a focus on innovation in science, design, and technology, Rotor continuously develops new ways to enhance cycling performance.

WHEEL TOP, established in 1951, has built a strong reputation for producing high-quality bicycle transmission components. In 2015, the company began focusing on high-end parts, and by 2022, they successfully introduced their wireless electronic shifting system, the EDS OX series, designed for efficient and precise gear shifting.
