Michael Lin, President of Pacific Cycles, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 9 at the age of 57. His passing has deeply saddened many industry friends and colleagues. Under his leadership, Michael Lin set an outstanding example for Pacific Cycles and laid a solid foundation for the company’s growth. Pacific Cycles has stated that the team will continue to uphold his vision, pushing forward with the company’s established plans to lead the business steadily into the future.
Michael Lin was the proud son of Pacific Cycles founder, George Lin. Despite enduring years of illness, he always faced life with optimism and approached his work with passion and energy. Grace Ruan, a veteran media personality in the cycling industry, expressed, "Michael was the most optimistic, courageous fighter I’ve ever met, and also the most sincere and helpful friend." His love for bicycle design and development, along with his bright and infectious laughter, will remain in our hearts. Now, Michael has completed his life’s journey, free from pain and burdens, and can rest in peace. We wish him a peaceful journey and eternal happiness.
