The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) has announced the winners of the 26th Taiwan Excellence Gold Award. Among the ten winners of the Gold Award, was Darfon which received the coveted award for its BESV TRB1 eMTB.

The TRB1 features industry-leading 756Wh battery power compared to a major eMTBs which only provide 504Wh, allowing mountain bikers to enjoy longer and more challenging routes with abundant electrical assistance. The bike's advanced dual-tube frame design provides ample space and excellent protection for the large battery pack, while the dual-tube design also ensures extreme stiffness performance.

The 10 winners were selected by a panel of international judges based on the criteria of R&D, Design, Quality and Marketing. They not only represent the most revolutionary, highest quality and highest value-added products made by Taiwan, but also epitomize Taiwan's unique genius in using innovation to create additional value in R&D, Design, Quality and Marketing of cutting-edge products.

Winners of the Taiwan Excellence Silver Awards included: Giant for its Trinity Advanced Pro and Langma Advanced SL bikes, and Merida for its Silex CF and Reacto Team Disc bikes.

Founded in 1992, The Taiwan Excellence Awards were formulated by TAITRA to assist Taiwan brands to enter and expand to the global market under the guiding and sponsoring of the Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT), the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) of Taiwan.
